The Sangtamu operating area of ​​Tarim Oilfield in Xinjiang is an operating area covering hundreds of square kilometers. It is located on the edge of the Taklimakan Desert and has a very harsh natural environment. There are 80 oil wells distributed throughout the region. The oil wells are usually unattended, and the measurement data collection of the oil wells can only rely on manual inspections. The central station can poll 7 RTU stations in just a few minutes (the longest distance between the central station and the RTU station is 13 kilometers). All data collection is accurate and avoids human error. Errors in collected data are eliminated, and measurement automation is truly realized.
