DTU to DTU communication

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things, 4G DTU has been widely used in electric power, industry, sharing and other fields. In the field of industrial control, it is not only necessary to implement wireless communication between the central computer and field devices, but also there is a need for wireless communication between devices and devices separated by long distances. ZHC4921, the latest research and development of Zongheng Intelligent Control, provides DTU- to-DTU mapping function and realizes point-to-point and one-to-many communication between serial devices. It can also be called a data transmission radio .

Point-to-point communication between DTUs

Each field device is connected to the Zongheng cloud platform through DTU, and wireless serial port software is installed on a computer with Internet access to establish mapping between the two devices to achieve one-to-one wireless communication.

One-to-one communication between DTU and DTU does not matter the master-slave relationship, it is two-way transparent wireless data communication between two serial devices.

One-to-many communication between DTUs

Each field device is connected to the Zongheng cloud platform through DTU, and wireless serial port software is installed on a computer with Internet access to map other slave devices to the master device, thereby achieving one-to-many wireless communication.

The one-to-many communication mode is particularly suitable for communication between master and slave devices based on the Modbus protocol. The master device issues a query command and broadcasts it to each device that establishes a mapping with it. The slave device whose Modbus device address matches it receives the query. command to send reply data to the master device.

The DTU data transmission radio only needs to be directly connected to a device containing an RS485 interface to send and receive data, just like a wired serial port. It can be widely used in PLC wireless communication; automatic control of data collection equipment, monitoring equipment, medical equipment and electronic instruments; automatic meter reading and charging systems for water, electricity, gas and heating; LED screen wireless transmission of text, pictures and wireless control; alarm monitoring PTZ control, access control and attendance card reader, etc.
