The Internet of Things is an important part of the new generation of information technology and an important development stage in the “information age”. As the name suggests, the Internet of Things is the Internet where things are connected. This has two meanings: first, the core and foundation of the Internet of Things is still the Internet, which is an extension and expansion of the Internet; second, its client extends and expands to exchange information between any items. and communication, which is the so-called Internet of Everything.
IoT RTU Visión general
Internet of Things RTU is an intelligent terminal device that realizes remote data collection, processing, storage, encryption and transmission based on communication networks such as 2G/4G, NB-IoT and LoRa . The IoT RTU realizes the connection between things and human-computer interaction, and is widely used in various IoT application scenarios such as status sensing, facility monitoring, data interaction, and operation control.
IoT RTU working mode
TCP Client communication
The IoT RTU actively initiates a TCP connection to the server. If it fails, it will continue to reconnect until it succeeds. If the connection is successful, the server and the IoT RTU can perform two-way transparent data transmission.
HTTP Client communication
The IoT RTU supports serial port data transmission to the designated server via HTTP.
IoT RTU applicable scenarios
○ Serial instrument networking
○ Remote operation and maintenance of serial device
○ There are many types of signals collected on site
○ Remote communication between devices
○ Capable of multiple collections, centralized reporting, and automatic alarm when limits are exceeded
○ High real-time requirements for data transmission
○ The power supply method can be flexibly adjusted
