What are the differences between 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi?

However, due to the small transmission range and weak penetration of high-frequency signals, their transmission range is relatively narrow, and it is not as able to penetrate walls and obstacles as 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

It should also be noted that due to the widespread use of the 5GHz band, not all devices support 5GHz Wi-Fi connections. If you want to use 5GHz Wi-Fi, you’ll need to make sure your device supports connections in that band.
