Introduction to functional networking
On the device side, the smart device uses the NB-IoT chip, which communicates with the China Telecom IoT open platform through the CoAP protocol. The payload of the CoAP message is the application data of the device.
The application server communicates with the platform through the http/https protocol and controls the device by calling the platform’s open API. The platform pushes the data reported by the device to the application server. The platform supports protocol analysis of device data and converts it into standard json format data.
Overall business introduction
NB-IoT mainly includes NB equipment, NB-IoT network, China Telecom IoT open platform, and vertical industry applications.
NB-IoT devices are connected to the China Telecom Internet of Things open platform through wireless networks and use the CoAP protocol to access, such as water meters, gas meters, etc.
