lora netwerkoplossing

As a low-power wide-area network communication technology, LoRa realizes the requirements of both long-distance and low-power consumption for the Internet of Things, making LoRa technology applied in more and more fields. Faced with the networking requirements of numerous nodes in the network, how to implement networking quickly and easily?

What is LoRa?

LoRa is an ultra-long-distance wireless transmission solution based on spread spectrum technology. It is one of the Internet of Things communication technologies. Its name comes from the abbreviation of “Long Range”. As can be seen from the name, its biggest feature is long range. transmission.

LoRa networking solution

The LoRa network is mainly composed of four parts: terminal (built-in LoRa-module ), gateway (or base station), server and cloud. Application data can be transmitted in both directions, as shown below:

In addition to the complete functions of network entry, exit, channel division, node management and whitelist, the LoRa networking transparent transmission module simplifies the networking process into one-click operation, making it more convenient for users to configure the network.

The self-organizing network function of the module is a star network topology with one master and multiple slaves. The user first sets the module as the corresponding master and slave modules and turns on the self-organizing network function. Then the user only needs to use the module JOIN pin and DETECT Pin control enables rapid networking of modules within the network.

When the module is in self-organizing network mode, the host module will automatically select the surrounding unused physical channels and modulation parameters to form an independent network, and can automatically assign a unique local network address to the slave module. When the slave module is used, After enabling the self-organizing network function, there is no need to perform any configuration operations. The slave module can communicate with the host after joining the network. One master module can connect up to 200 slave modules.

Then the slave information stored in the host network can be traced back through command query, which facilitates management and communication and truly gets rid of the LoRa gateway coordinator.

The LoRa network transparent transmission module not only embeds the self-organizing network transparent transmission protocol, but also supports the common industry standard Modbus protocol. Users can directly develop applications without spending a lot of time on the protocol, significantly shortening the development cycle.
